1. What stains does BLOX work on?
BLOX is a high performance, eco-friendly fabric protector that can be applied to a variety of fabrics. BLOX repels organic, water-based, oil-based, and combination stains. BLOX works on over 1001 stains including, red wine, coffee, ketchup, mustard, grape juice, fruit punch, beer, alcohol, soy sauce, grass, water, mud, spaghetti sauce, blood, ink spots, baby food, baby formula, tea, dairy products, BBQ sauce, mayonnaise, vinaigrette, jams, eggs and MANY MANY MORE!
2. How does BLOX work?
BLOX fabric protector treats fabrics with a state of the art water-based formula. When BLOX activates, millions of small “umbrellas” pop up to block stains before they start. The “umbrellas” are bonded, hooked and cross-linked to the fabric and to each other. This chemistry works on such a small nano-scale that the look and feel of the fabric is not changed. BLOX In-Wash Fabric Protector is heat activated, so you should place your garments in the dryer at high heat for at least 30 minutes. For stronger and longer lasting protection leave your garments in the dryer for longer than 30 minutes and iron.
3. How do I use BLOX?
BLOX is easy to use. Add BLOX to your fabric softener dispenser, place clothes in the washing machine and add your detergent as normal. Once the full cycle is complete, remove clothes and place in dryer OR iron hang-to-dry clothes. It’s that easy.
And for those fabrics that you can’t put in your washing machine (couches, upholstery, outdoor furniture, car seats, dry cleaning, canvas bags & shoes), just spray on the BLOX Quick-Spray and let it dry. There’s no harsh fumes.
4. Do I dry my clothes after washing?
Either completely dry in a dryer to activate the “umbrella” technology. Or, iron hang-to-dry items.
5. How many times does BLOX work before I have to re-apply BLOX to my clothes?

6. Is BLOX safe?
BLOX is family and pet safe. BLOX is also PFOA and PFOS free. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed that PFOA’s (perflurooctanoic acid – C8) PFOS (a synthetic chemical and likely carcinogen) be eliminated from consumer products by 2010. BLOX is eco-friendly, solvent free, and silicone free.
7. How is BLOX different to other products on the market?
BLOX is the only in-wash stain protection product on the market today. Competitive products generally come in an aerosol spray form and act more like a coating on your fabrics and tend to wash or wear away over time. Aerosol sprays can be harmful. Some coatings, like silicone, can change the feel of your clothing and can actually attract dirt instead of defending against it. With the ease of in-wash stain protection, as well as longer lasting effectiveness on a wider variety of stains, BLOX surpasses any competitive product on the market today.
8. What fabrics can I use BLOX on?
BLOX works on a wide variety of fabrics including denim, polyester, micro fiber, polyblends, cotton, suede, wool, linen, rubber, acrylic, vinyl, nylon, colorfast silk, fleece, leather, rayon, canvas, corduroy, velvet, spandex, and upholstery.
9. What can’t I use BLOX on?
Do not use BLOX on non-colorfast silks.
10. Does BLOX change the look or feel of my clothes?
Instead of coating your clothes, BLOX protects the individual fibers. You don’t even know it’s there until you see your fabrics stay clean and look like new for longer.
BLOX is dermatologist tested and approved, hypoallergenic and safe for even the most sensitive skin.
BLOX also softens your clothes, so you don’t need fabric softeners.
11. Will my clothing become waterproof with BLOX?

12. Is my clothing breathe-able after I apply BLOX?

If you accidentally rub in a stain or for ground in stains, BLOX helps stains easily release in the wash.
14. How do I remove stains when they happen?

15. What happens after I’ve treated my clothes with Blox and I have to wash my clothes again? How does water get back on the clothes?
Wash your BLOX protected clothing and fabrics as usual. When you wash and add a mild detergent to your laundry the “umbrellas” close and lay down which will allow your laundry to become fully soaked and washed. After the clothes are fully rinsed and are placed in the dryer the “umbrellas” stand back up, open and reactivate to protect your clothing and fabrics.
